Homeopathic medicines are the second most prescribed medicines in the world due to their low tech nature, gentleness and low cost. There is scientific isolation and prejudice against many forms of healing that are not big pharma based however, once it is accepted by Western doctors and the public that Homeopathic medicine has the potential to gently treat multiple diagnoses in the same person, then sophisticated new Homeopathic drug research will happen. Research funding changes to meet patients’ demands for non- toxic individualized therapies, not just on disease diagnosis. The American Medical Association (AMA) recommends doctors learn more about alternative therapies, such as Homeopathy, because patients are using them. (Adapted from) Jacquelyn J. Wilson MD
